Abstract

This book chapter describes the Causality Workbench, a project dedicated to provide an environment to test causal discovery algorithms. As part of the development of this environment, we organized two challenges: the WCCI 2008 Causation and Prediction challenge and the NIPS 2008 Pot-luck challenge. We will progressively add datasets and software packages to our repository. Our virtual lab allowing users to design virtual experiments to study artificial causal systems is in beta testing.
