Abstract

This is a comment on P. Killeen's recent article (2005) in Psychological Science, in which he introduces an altenative to traditional hypothesis testing based on the so-called replication probability p_rep. We explain that, contrary to Killeen's claims, p_rep does not solve all of the problems of traditional hypothesis testing.
