Abstract

This chapter discusses signal processing and machine learning techniques and their application to brain-computer interfacing. A broader overview of the general signal processing and classification methods as used in single-trial EEG analysis is given. For more specialized algorithms, the reader is referred to the original publications. Furthermore, validation techniques and robustification are discussed briefly.
