Proceedings of the NIPS 2005 Workshop on Machine Learning for Implicit Feedback and User Modeling
AbstractThe workshop, organized in the NIPS Workshop programme on December 10, 2005, was arranged to gather together machine learning researchers interested in a new promising and challenging research area. Some of the papers introduced best-performing solutions of a PASCAL Eye Movement Challenge, of inferring intent of users based on eye movement signals. The rest broadened the scope towards other implicit feedback signals, and towards more general problems of user modeling.
