Abstract

Formal Concept Analysis has been applied in modelling different kinds of relationships among datasets. The main purpose of this paper is the modelling and characterization of Multivalued Dependencies (MVD) providing a new Formal Concept Analysis-based framework. The consequence is that multivalued dependencies can, from a structural point of view, be seen as equivalent to the rest of dependencies also modelled with Formal Concept Analysis.
